ArcticFX BBA "Ride with Burandt" Contest Official Rules

Terms and Eligibility

  • ArcticFX Graphics, LLC is the sponsor of this contest and shall be referred to as "ArcticFX" or as the "Contest Sponsor".
  • Burandt's Backcountry Adventure, Inc. is located in Buena Vista, Colorado and shall be referred to as "BBA".
  • ArcticFX, BBA, their subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, promotion agencies, advertising agencies, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, and representatives shall be collectively referred to as "Affiliated Parties".
  • You must be a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia.
  • You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.
  • You must fill out all required form fields.
  • You must not be an Affiliated Party, member of the immediate families (spouse and parents, children, and siblings and each of their respective spouses) of an Affiliated Party, or living in the same household of an Affiliated Party.
  • You must submit your entry after the start of the contest on September 1, 2025 at 12:00 am EST.
  • You must submit your entry before the end of the contest on December 31, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST.
  • Limited to one entry per eligible person per month. Multiple entries submitted or completed by anyone other than the entrant are void.

Video Requirements And Copyright

  • Your video must primarily feature you, the contest entrant.
  • Your video must be submitted in a ".mp4", ".m4v", or ".mov" digital format at 1920x1080p resolution.
  • Your video must have a file size smaller than three hundred and fifty mebibytes (350 MiB), which is approximately three hundred and sixty seven megabytes (367 MB).
  • Your video must have a runtime shorter than ninety (90) seconds.
  • Your video must not use copyrighted materials in your submitted video unless you own the copyright or have a license to use the material for this contest.
  • You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Affiliated Parties from any and all third party damages related to copyright infringement arising from the use or publication of your submitted video.
  • You grant the Affiliated Parties a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to use, edit, and publish your submitted video.
  • You release and discharge the Affiliated Parties from any and all claims and demands arising from the use or publication of your submitted video, including but not limited to claims for libel or invasion of privacy.

Judging Information

  • Entries will be grouped by the month in which they were submitted.
  • A round of judging will occur in the first week following each month.
  • For each monthly group of entries, ArcticFX employees will pick ten (10) semifinalists according to the judging rubric below.
  • For each monthly group of semifinalists, BBA employess will pick one (1) finalist according to the judging rubric below.
  • After the contest is closed, a public poll will be held on Instagram by January 15, 2026 for users to vote for one (1) potential winner from the four (4) finalists.

Judging Rubric

  • The video showcases a rider's skill and ability to handle a snowmobile in challenging conditions.
  • The video exhibits creativity, originality, and personality.
  • The video has high quality camera, audio, and editing work.

Prize Information

  • The only compensation for entering this contest is the opportunity to be awarded a prize if the entry wins. The Affiliated Parties are not liable for any additional compensation for any submissions under any circumstances.
  • There is no entry fee and no purchase is required. Because this is a contest of merit, no purchase will increase your chance of winning.
  • Potential winner will be notified by ArcticFX via email and/or phone call by January 30, 2026. Winner is required to respond to ArcticFX within seven (7) calendar days from date of initial notification.
  • If ArcticFX is unable to contact the potential winner or the potential winner is not in compliance with these terms and requirements, the prize will be forfeited and, at ArcticFX's discretion, an alternate winner may be selected for the prize.
  • One (1) prize is available. One (1) winner will receive a trip to BBA to ride snowmobiles with BBA's guide service. The approximate retail value of the prize (“ARV”) is $4,800.
  • Trip will include 2 days and 3 nights stay with airfare, snowmobile guide service, transportation to and from BBA, food and lodging at BBA, snowmobile rental, a free sledwrap in gloss or matte finish, and head to toe Klim gear all paid in full and at no cost to winner. 
  • Dates subject to change per availability of guide service BBA.
  • All federal, state, and local taxes and all other costs associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of the winner. ArcticFX will provide a 1099 to the winner prior to the required IRS deadline.

Miscellaneous

  • By participating, each entrant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the contest any contest-related activity or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prizes.
  • The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, undeliverable, or garbled entries.
  • Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the contest or affiliated websites, or those who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, as determined by the Contest Sponsor, will be disqualified.
  • Should any portion of the contest be, in the Contest Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised by non-authorized human intervention or other causes including but not limited to war, strikes, health crisis, epidemic, pandemic, civil disturbances, work stoppage, and/or acts of God, which corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, proper play, or submission of entries, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, modify, or terminate the contest and, if terminated, at the Contest Sponsor's discretion, select the potential winner from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by the Contest Sponsor.
