Every March, Jackson Hole, Wyoming brings in a who’s who of top snowmobile athletes from around the world to compete in the RMSHA World Championship Hill Climbs. These athletes battle it out for three days in an effort to find out who is the best of the best at reaching the top.
After a year hiatus due to poor weather conditions in 2015, the excitement for 2016 was higher than ever. And for the ArcticFX Graphics team the results couldn’t have been any better . . .
With 1st Place finals finishes in 600 Stock, 600 Mod, 700 Stock, 800 Stock, Pro Masters Improved Stock, 800 Mod, 1000 Improved Stock, Stock King, Mod King, King of Kings, as well as the all new Snow Bike division. It was a near sweep of every division for the ArcticFX team. Now we aren’t about to claim ArcticFX Graphics can make your sled any faster, but with those kind of results its hard to argue otherwise.
The biggest winners of the weekend were Tapio Racing. Kyle Tapio took home finals wins in 800 Mod, Mod King, and the almighty King of Kings crown. And when you run with gold graphics on your sled you can’t expect anything less. Brother Russ Tapio also had a strong showing with top 3 finishes in 600 and 700 Mod.
First year ArcticFX team riders, Thomas Racing, also put on a great showing with 1st place finishes in 600 Mod (Justin Thomas) and 700 Stock (Andy Thomas) as well as top 3 finishes in Women’s Stock (Kaycee Balls), 700 Improved Stock, Open Mod, Stock King, and Mod King.
ArcticFX premiere athlete, Keith Curtis (KC711), didn’t disappoint either. Keith took 1st Place finishes in the first ever Snow Bike division as well as 600 Stock, 800 Stock, and the always tough Stock King. Check out Keith’s epic weekend in this sick video edit:
Other ArcticFX athletes with strong showings included Jay Mentaberry, Cole Willford, and Tupper Racing (Todd Tupper, Trace Tupper, Taylor Wilkes). Check out more action from the Jackson Hole World Championship Hill Climbs below:
